The Woman Behind the Business

Danya is the founder of Sort & Sell. She discovered her love of organizing at an early age by managing her many collections of treasures. Danya has always cleaned and organized friends’ spaces when visiting them. She loves to lend a helping hand to friends and assist them with completing projects they always had on the back burner or felt too overwhelmed to approach.

She took the leap in the fall of 2021 to leave education after 9 years of teaching math and science in New York City high schools and transfer her skills to the field of her passion…ORGANIZING! In addition to organizing, she is prolific in her knack for selling used goods. Starting on the playground of P.S. 75, where she sold trinkets to classmates, all the way to the stoops of Brooklyn selling clothes and earrings. She decided to pair her organizing business with resale assistance to help clients make a little bit of cash when letting go of used furniture, clothes or household goods.
